Kelas Menyusui dan Perawatan Bayi Baru Lahir
Abstract
Becoming a parent requires thorough preparation, both physically and mentally, as well as emotionally. The mental health of parents has a direct impact on interactions with the baby and success in caring for them. Therefore, families need sufficient support and information to address potential mental and emotional challenges. The goal of this community engagement activity is to enhance parents' knowledge and understanding of the proper care for newborns and correct breastfeeding techniques. The process of improving parents' knowledge and understanding in this activity is carried out through four approaches: socialization, practical demonstrations, active participation, and psychosocial support. The results of this activity align well with expectations, as the attending community actively asks questions about the material and follows the given instructions. This indicates a high level of curiosity among the community regarding the proper care for newborns and correct breastfeeding techniques
