OVERVIEW OF POST LAPARATOMY WOUND HEALING AT THE SURGERY POLICY OF SEKARWANGI HOSPITAL SUKABUMI REGENCY IN 2021
Abstract
Background: Laparotomy is one of the major surgical procedures by making
incisions in the lining of the abdominal wall to get the organs in the abdomen that
are experiencing problems. Wound healing is a process that occurs normally. This
means that a healthy body has a natural ability to protect and restore itself.
Objective: This study aims to identify the description of wound healing in postlaparotomy
patients at the Surgical Clinic of Sekarwangi Hospital, Sukabumi
Regency. Method: This study uses a descriptive approach. The population in this
study were all post-laparotomy patients with a sample size of 30 respondents
using total sampling. Collecting data using a questionnaire. Results: The results
of statistical tests showed that most of the respondents had satisfactory wound
healing as many as 24 people (80.0%). Conclusion: Overview of Post
Laparotomy Wound Healing at the Surgical Clinic of Sekarwangi Hospital,
Sukabumi Regency, most of the wound healing was satisfactory with a percentage
of 80.0% or as many as 24 respondents.
